@Chain Yeah, I saw that on imdb. It's definitely time. S7 better contain some Sookie/Eric scenes or else I'm going to smash something! I need some closure in that department. Also, I really hope the writers will do more for Tara. She's a great character, but she's been treated horribly throughout the show. She's always being abused and if that isn't the case all she gets is a snarky one-liner. Give us something more, please!

@AfterthebattleAt this point, I think the writer's are trying to piss off Sookie and Eric fans. They wasted a whole season on Sookie and Warlow. Now it looks like a new triangle is starting up with Bill, Sookie, & Alcide. I hope they completely scrap this idea. Just so tired of love triangles period.
I definitely agree on Tara. It's looks like the writers are working on repairing Tara's relationship with her mother. That's really the root of a lot of her pain. I want some focus on her relationships with Sookie and Lafayette as well. Hasn't been the same since S5.
@Chain But why would they do that? Sookie/Eric fans are clearly the majority of the fanbase. The writers are only going to lose viewers by denying us what we want to see. A Sookie/Bill/Alcide love triangle would be horrible. Bill is an abusive freak and having him being a potential love interest once again is absolutely atrocious.
And yes, more focus on family and friendships please. I think True Blood is at its best when they focus on those relationships.

@Afterthebattle (sorry for late reply) It's a mystery to me. I do think the writers should stick to the story they want to tell and not cater to fans though. Sometimes fans can be overpowering and shows become more about the ships than storylines. I'm pretty neutral when comes to the relationships on the show. My favorites have become the maker/progeny parings.
I don't know where they're going this season. I did read that Alexander Skarsgard is returning so that's good. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for a decent series finale.

@Afterthebattle They are great in scenes together. Although, I would have liked to see them together when Eric had his memory. The writers seem to be moving away from the couple entirely, so we may never get the chance. Sookie's in a new relationship and even Bill is back in the mix (romantically it seems). I does feel like Eric and Sookie's relationship never really got closure. Sookie doesn't even acknowledge their relationship. Only the one she had with Bill. I hope fans of each couple gets some kind of closure because I definitely know how it feels to want your favorite couple together. I've been rooting for Katherine/Stefan on Vampire Diaries since S2, but it's a Stelena/Delena world on the show. It sucks as a fan.
Sidenote: I love you avi/banner. Regina is my absolute favorite on OUAT. Love her.

@Chain Exactly! It's the lack of closure that bothers me the most, I think. If they are going to remove Eric as a potential love interest then they should do it properly. The "girl in the white dress" scene wasn't enough for me. I just pray that the writers will address the Eric/Sookie relationship in season 7; it would make the show seem more consistent - something that True Blood really lacks from time to time. A lot of story lines seem isolated and are never brought up again after they've run their course. It's probably my biggest problem with the show.
The Eric/Sookie situation reminds me a bit of Jack and Elizabeth from Pirates of the Caribbean. I'm the biggest Sparrabeth fan ever and I was so hurt and disappointed that the writers decided to ignore their relationship completely in the third movie when it had played such an important role in the second one. It was like a slap to the face. I still haven't gotten over it.

@Chain Since we discussed this earlier in the thread, I would just like to say that 7x04 gave me all the closure I needed for the Eric/Sookie relationship. Both Sookie and Eric acknowledged their feelings for each other - and that's really all I'd hoped for. I do dislike fan pandering, but at this point, ignoring the couple's shared history seemed inconsistent and stupid (I still maintain that exploring their relationship in S5 would've felt way more organic - I'll never understand why the writers didn't do it back then). So I'm happy that the writers finally decided to bring it up after two seasons of ... well, nothing.

Also as an aside since people were talking about it above, I definitely think Delena ruined TVD with its immense creepiness, pretty much ruined Elena's character and that the delivery of that relationship was not anywhere near as good as the teasing of it in the first three seasons. One of the worst cases of fan-pandering with zero regard to respect towards the characters I've seen...Why do I watch these things?Spoiler!
