I love Misfits. Such a great show and...HOLY MOLY your figures are so awesome. At first glance they looked good, but looking at the close ups you really can see the likeness to the characters and all the details you put in. Wonderful job.

Out of curiosity what materials did you use. They look a little like wood dolls, but I honestly can't tell.

I don't know the show but your figures look awesome and I may have to check out this show since I read it is about superpowers.

It is an awesome show. Definitely meant for an adult audience as many stories have subject matter not suitable for children, but the characters are a lot of fun, the stories are exciting and it manages to keep you laughing, guessing and on the edge of your seat.

Yeah they've got a woody appearance. I've been told there's a thunderbird look going on in the past haha. They're actually pretty ordinary in terms of materials. The heads are super sculpey like most customisers use, as are the hands and feet.

The bodies are a little more complicated, I used 12-inch artist mannequins as the base and simply padded and tailored each figure. The jumpsuits are real fabric, but they are glued and pianted solid to give them a more scupltural look.

@usagianddarien , you should definitely check out Misfits. It's far more coarse and vulgar than Buffy, but I think it does share a similar warmth in its balance of humour and drama. It's one of my favourite shows.

Misfits is great - absolutely - not for children. British TV is so well-written and witty.

Season One is available on NetFlicks. It may take you a little while to understand the talking if you are from North America as the accents are pretty strong for some of the characters.
