    @Just Willow
awwwww! That's so adorable. congrats!! <3 I remember my first kiss like it was yesterday...well seeing that my first kiss was only a few months ago....lol.

Well, first day of college went well! I loved how free it was, unlike high school had been. You are choosing to be there so it is all the people who actually want to learn so it's very quiet and nice. lol. The only thing that scared me was my College Algebra class. Seeing that math is my least favorite subject and the first words the professor said, in my first college class, were "ONLY 50%, historically speaking, WILL PASS MY CLASS." And he kept saying that threw the whole class. fml.

@PJ. - No need to be afraid of Math. It's the best thing ever and very interesting. All you have to do is to start to study and practise from very beginning. That way you'll be able to understand everything on time and you won't notice that you're spending time on it and maybe you'll discover how interesting it can be. Try not to skip Math classes. If you don't understand something just ask professor. They like that . And you can also ask me. I should be able to help you with Math. If you do as I said you'll be the best on Math classes . Good luck!

@Scarygothgirl I hope your passport will arrive soon and that you'll then be able to relax! Also I hope you'll have fun in France!

@PJ. Good that college was nice! I hope you'll make lots of friends and I hope it'll stay nice!

My day had been quite calm. I was supposed to go to therapy today but got called last night. I didn't have to go since I went there tuesday anyway. And since I'm exhausted by watching this farm with a 20 year old doggie that likes to bark all night long, I didn't really mind not having to drive so long. So instead of that I called my boss and I worked a fer hours today, which was cool. I have loads of fun with my coworker at that location, so that's good.
When I came home I ended up chatting on Skype. I managed today to break my chatting-record. The longest that I've been chatting to a person online was almost 5 hours with @Eric on MSN. Now I was on Skype with @SpaceDolphin and we were there for like 5,5 hours!! We shared stories and pictures and video's and we just had a lot of fun.
Also, since like yesterday I have terrible toothache. It's not that weird, since I barely go to a dentist due to fear. Last time I've been there is like 3 years back and it hurted like hell. I needed like 9 sedating injections and I was still screaming and crying like nuts. Even the kids in that room were a lot braver then me! But now I think I have to see a dentist. And I'm nauseous already of only the idea. But they have special clinics in here for people with dentist fear. They use laugh-gas sedation or you can go fully anesthetized. I'm thinking about going there. I think for both the dentist and me it'll be safest if we choose the second option. The pain I have is slightly annoying, but not yet killing me. At this moment I really feel like biting one of these rubber things for babies that are getting teeth. It somehow makes the pain less. I just hope this will be over soon...

@PJ. -- Haha, professors love saying that, it's become a cliche. Math is my worst subject too. See if your campus has a tutoring center for it and take advantage if you're having trouble. Saved my bacon more than once.

@Drusilla -- Ouch! Dental pain is the worst! Hopefully it passes quickly.

@PJ. Don't worry about it, I think some professors think saying stuff like that is a motivational technique. I'm sure you'll do fine. When I was taking a college math class I used this site: http://www.khanacademy.org/ Maybe it'll help you out. Good luck Peej!

@PJ I've had my share of college professors like that, just don't let 'em get to you and you'll be fine

@Drusilla Hope your teeth get better soon, I hate the dentist too but I too need to go soon due to a toothache. I fear the dentist so much I have not been in six years.

@pj, you'll be fine. Some professors say things like that to scare the slackers out of their classes. I had an English prof who did that in every one of her classes. After the first day several would drop, then the next class she would say, "Now that we've gotten all the dead weight out, we can have some great discussions." Or something like that. But, if you are concerned about the class, take @Bunny Hearts ' advice and find the tutoring center. Most schools have one, and they are free for students. Also, you can find some good online tutorials.

Classes start Monday here. I'm excited to get back into it, and excited about my job in the writing center. It should be great job experience. I just have to get over this bug completely.

I'm not sure any of you will understand my insanity.. for me Guild Wars/Guild Wars 2 is like a sickness... what follows is an almost direct copy/paste from my guild forums (edited only to change times)...

So, Thursday morning, I was up at 7.30 (in an attempt to get myself into the state where I'd be tired enough to have a good, long nap Friday afternoon). I turned on my PC and... well... nothing. The little power light was coming on, but that was it - the monitor registered no display and I couldn't hear much of the familiar whirring. With around 48hours until GW2, this was less than ideal.

Not only that, I'm not rich enough to just go out and buy a new machine - and the repairs would no doubt take longer than 48 hours. So, Thursday was spent searching the city to get a good idea of what's out there and then on the phone with my parents seeing if they could help me out financially. Too bad I didn't ask for enough to buy a PC with the right specs...

So... yesterday morning, I took the majority of my DvD collection, the fairly new monitor from my dead PC and an old iPod dock to Cexchange. Between the amount from my parents and the amount I managed to recover from all my stuff ( ) I STILL came up £20 short of a new machine up to spec. However, in the place that bought all my stuff, they also sell laptops (yay!), and I was able to get a machine that WILL run GW2 and still have £40 left in the bank.

It stinks you had to sell off some of your stuff, but I totally get where you're coming from. I'm trying to see where we can cut costs so we can get cable. I'm going crazy knowing new seasons have started and I can't watch the shows. I have to have my Supernatural, Grimm, Leverage, Glee, et al.

@dusk3333 I hear you on that one, I would probably go crazy without my DVR and my chance to watch my shows late at night when all the kids are sleeping.

@AwfulPoet I love my Laptop way more than our home PC, it is so much faster But I too am sorry you had to sell some stuff to get it. it always sucks to sell things you have held on to for years believe me I know. Many on here have bought pieces of my collection because I had to sell to make room for the new little one.

In all, I parted with 103 DVDs/boxsets. Only six DVDs were handed back to me because of tiny scratches/laser burn - I kept my DvDs pristine. But it's worth noting that I got the best rate for Disney movies - they got at least £2 each and Bedknobs and Broomsticks went for £3. I sadly parted with my Angel boxset, which I'll probably replace when I get paid on Friday, but held on to (as in, didn't even consider trading in) the X-Men cartoon series from the '90s (five seasons' worth) and How I Met Your Mother (again, 5 seasons' worth).

I would love to have the X-Men ceries on DVD, I think my boys would love it, they just got into superhero shows. They currently love the old Adam West Batman and Ultimate Spiderman and Lois and Clark the New Adventures of Superman.

@AwfulPoet I'm sorry your computer crashed and you had to sell stuff to replace your computer for a laptop. But at least now you have a laptop and are able to do what you want to. So that's good, right?!

I should now edit my post. I am now officially as tipsy as can be. I went to the store, because I had to but Absolut vodka. And I did. But then there was Bacardi Melon. And I had been drinking that with Majvor once. In here it's quite rare. I saw it and I wanted it. And when I came home I made myself a glass of vodka! It was soo nice!
I had forgotten that I didn't really eat enough before I drank the vodka. But it was too late already when I thought of that. So now I'm halfway drunk on one glass of mixed vodka. I have to say that life looks a lot more fun like this. Maybe I should do this more often It makes things less heavy!

Oh lordy, my mom's going to run me into the ground by the end of her vacation. It's her first day and already she's had me mow the lawn and help sort through some of the things in my dad's storage unit. We finally took a lunch break because I haven't eaten anything yet, but there's the promise of more yard work, the total rearranging of the front room (more lifting heavy things) and the sorting through of everything in the garage left for today. I can't imagine what she has in store for next week but the unknown is terrifying.

Waiting around to possibly go to the movies with a couple friends from school. Making plans with people is the worst. Is there a law somewhere that states that people in their 20's have to be flakes? I wouldn't have put on pants today if I knew this would happen.

You guys! I need date suggestions for my fifth date with Lucas. Anything but going out to dinner. I haven't mustered up the courage to tell him that I'm not a fan of nice dinners. I'd way rather hit the McDonald's drive thru...

@Just Willow you could go out for a nice picnic? O you could walk around a really nice graveyard (that's what Harry and I did on our first date) Or a museum or art gallery. Or go to the theatre. Or if you have an arcade near you you could go and play games together like they did in Scott Pilgrim.

Found this on YouTube tonight, after a conversation with my husband prompted me to look for it. I'm the little girl in the pink shirt and batter's helmet sitting next to Joe in the dug-out. It's from 1986, hence the poor quality

So, I finally got round to watching The Hunger Games over the weekend. Holy mother of frak, no one warned me about the scene
    Spoiler!
So incredibly brutal (it is so unnerving seeing children kill children) that I ended up crying. And I'm not talking sad misty eyes, no I'm talking hysterical, out-of-control, needed to pause the DVD sobbing. Only two other movie scenes have had that effect on me. Not fun.
