Buffy Shooting Location Adventure

For my 25th birthday, my boyfriend took me on a tour of all the most prominent Buffy shooting locations.

We went to:


Giles' apartment (only got to see the outside...it was gated off)
Angel's mansion
Glory's apartment exterior
The church in Who Are You?
The high school
Buffy's house
Doublemeat Palace

We were also going to go to the "Under Your Spell" park but it was overfull because of the holiday and they weren't letting anyone else in.


Anyway, here are some pictures. I only took them at two locations because I didn't want to be a nuisance.

Somebody lives there. I don't know if they're a fan or not, but there are definitely residents. That's why I didn't get any closer than that.

From what I understand they only used the house for a certain period of time and then re-built it on a backlot.

That is awesome :D I am so jealous I am moving to the U.S soon and me and my friends are gonna go on a Buffy tour :D I might pretend I'm a high school student ;) it be so funny if Sarah Michelle Gellar actually lived in the Summers house

Ugh, I would love to go on a tour of places Buffy was filmed at! Except I'd feel incredibly weird about going to the actual house used...

PS: I want the UC Sunnydale locations too, and Angel's house, and everything :nods:

I guess there's no sets of the show anymore. One of the things that I would have liked the most is to take a walk for the park-graveyard set

ugggh! Im so jelaous! I've always wanted to fly to CA and do this..but I doubt I would be able to get the money and get someone to come with. :D and if i went to Buffy's house...I would totally knock on the door and be like "HI. Im a huge fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I was wondering would you mind if I took a tour of your house...?!?!" :lol: that's not creepy or anything! Its quite normal. I wonder if they actually get that alot. And does someone live in Gile's apartment too?!

There are definitely people living in Giles' apartment building. It's gated off, though, so really all you can see from outside the gate is the courtyard. Fun fact, it happens to be same building that Melrose Place was shot in. It is Melrose place.
